This work is the partial result of the research project "Feminisms and General Legal Theory. Relationships based on the contributions of the Latin American feminist theory of María Lugones, Rita Segato, and Ocky Curiel."
The objective is to put on the agenda a contribution of Latin American decolonial feminism, which has perhaps remained on the sidelines of academic appreciation in its interpellations of legal theory. In this sense, we propose to describe the main contributions of Ocky Curiel as one of the exponents of Latin American and Caribbean decolonial feminism, while also seeking to raise possible lines of analysis between her theoretical developments and the conceptual notions of General Legal Theory. We understand General Legal Theory as the subject that allows us to approach cases or problems of social reality, considering the developments of all the legal branches involved, highlighting their interactions, as well as the common and shared components.
Based on Based on these ideas, the work is structured as follows: first, the author is placed in her historical, geographical, intellectual, and personal context; second, some of her central theses are selected; third, lines of interaction with notions of the General Theory of Law are proposed, positioning ourselves here from the perspective of the Trialista Theory of the Legal World, and finally, the conclusions are presented.
